Our Mission:

To connect young people to trusted adults and role models.

We serve school age children and youth, in need of positive role models; to help them grow into healthy and productive members of our community.

Our Programs

Mentor Me - North Georgia, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to better serving the diverse needs of youth in the community, particularly children ages 6 -17. Since 2002 we have been connecting mentors to children in need and improving their self image, life choices and opportunities. Children and youth can be matched with mentors either One-on-One in our REACH program, or teen Kick it Up clubs.

Each child is matched with an adult. They spend time one-on-one doing fun activities, building a long term relationship of trust, providing a positive influence on the children and improving their self-esteem and education.

Kick it Up Clubs

We offer monthly club meetings at middle and high schools to build connections, expose students to leadership skills, offer career exploration and service project opportunities. We encourage every student to build relationships to each other as well as trusted adults.

REACH focuses on elementary school students. Teen and adult volunteers provide reading, mentoring and homework help one hour each week throughout the school year.

Mentors work with a group of high achieving students at a partnering high school and help coach them on their path to college.

Jodi has been my daughter’s mentor since she was 11 years old, and today is her 17th birthday!  Throughout the years Jodi has been a listening ear, a baking buddy, a shopping partner and so much more.  Most importantly, Jodi has been a faithful friend to T!”
